Fees
Philadelphia Art Therapy Associates (PHATA) offers both therapy groups and individual therapy. Cost varies based on location, service type, and by therapist, and will be discussed with you in your initial phone consultation.
Payment is required at the time of each session by credit/debit card, cash, or check. Checks should be made out to "PhATA” or Philadelphia Art Therapy Associates.
Insurance
PhATA therapists are out of network for all insurance companies. We do not bill insurers directly. Our therapists hold PA licenses (in counseling or social work) and many insurance companies will reimburse a portion of the group or individual fee. Please check with your insurance company to determine if they cover out-of-network mental health benefits. PhATA’s parent company, the Child and Family Art Therapy Center provides a monthly receipt with all necessary information to submit a claim to your insurance company for reimbursement. PhATA therapists are not Medical Assistance (MA) providers.
